Below are organizations that JSMC supports, either financially or through regularly hosting their programs in our building.
Many of these organizations have received financial support through our Missional Action Fund (MAF). JSMC members can submit proposals for funding from the MAF to be given to an organization that is meaningful to them. This enables JSMC to be involved in the mission of loving God and neighbor as self at home, across the street, and around the world, in a variety of ways that align with the passions and interests of JSMC members.

- Bridge of Hope – Equips and engages Christian faith communities to respond to homelessness by fostering supportive, neighboring relationships.
- Campus Yoga – Provides gentle and power yoga classes at beginner through advanced levels, to help you flourish in your yoga practice and in life.
- Church World Service Lancaster – Empowering refugees, immigrants and asylum-seekers in Central Pennsylvania.
- Eastern Mennonite Missions – Christ’s transforming love compels us to cross cultures, engage the world, and make disciples of Jesus.
- Gardens Gone Native – A group of gardeners who focus on improving habitat by incorporating native plants into our landscapes.
- Growing Hope Globally – Linking the grassroots energy and commitment of rural communities in the U.S. with the capability and desire of smallholder farmers in developing countries to grow lasting solutions to hunger.
- Lancaster County Chooses Love – A grassroots organization that is committed to advocating for LGBTQ+ individuals within the community by creating safe social spaces and connecting community members with local resources.
- Lancaster County Food Hub – Helping our neighbors thrive through sharing the resources they need most: food, clothing, & connection to supportive services.
- Lancaster Mennonite School – Inspiring students through an excellent, well-rounded PreK-12th grade education in a nurturing and Christ-centered environment.
- Lighthouse Vocational Services – Provides vocational services, educational enrichment and community integration experiences for persons with developmental disabilities.
- Mennonite Central Committee – A global, nonprofit organization that strives to share God’s love and compassion for all through relief, development and peacebuilding.
- Music for Everyone – Cultivates the power of music as an educational and community wellbeing tool to transform lives, schools, and communities in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
- Neighbors Community Center – A welcoming place to connect, learn, and celebrate!
- Parish Resource Center – Providing organizational partners and dedicated volunteers with resources, educational opportunities, and creative solutions, to increase the impact of the good work already being done in our area.
- Power Packs Project – A nonprofit organization dedicated to ending hunger in our local schools over the weekend, when free school lunches and breakfasts aren’t available.
- ReHome – Helps create communities where new neighbors who came through humanitarian programs have a stable home base to rebuild and give back.
- Roots – A four-week Anabaptist spiritual formation program for children ages six to fifth grade.
- Tenfold – Sparking the power in all people to achieve equitable housing and financial security through a continuum of services.
- The Shalom Project – A post-college gap year focused on service, spirituality, and community in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
- The Worm Project – Buys and distributes medicine to treat children infected with parasitic worms in the poorest countries around the world.
- Tot Spot – A cooperative, inclusive community space for Lancaster’s young families to meet, play, and connect.
- We Rise International – Empowers communities to support people of all ages when they experience mental illnesses, addictions/substance use disorder and/or diabetes types 1 & 2.
- WellSpan Philhaven – Working as One to improve health through exceptional care for all, lifelong wellness, and healthy communities.
