James Street Mennonite Church is a vibrant community of Christian Anabaptist believers in the city of Lancaster, PA. We offer many programs and ministries and hope we have one just right for you!
Sunday School – There are Sunday school classes for children, youth, and adults every Sunday morning from September – July. Click here (Sunday School Brochure) to see the current Sunday school brochure that lists classes for children and youth as well as elective classes for adults.
Junior High – An opportunity for boys and girls in 7th and 8th grade to discuss various topics in a Christian environment, as well as do fun activities together, 6:45 to 8:00 PM.
Youth Group – High school youth meet every week for Bible study and other activities, 6:30 to 8:00 PM. Youth are encouraged to grow in their relationship with God and others.
Women’s Ministry – Seeks to provide opportunities for fellowship and sharing among women of all ages as well as outreach to the community and beyond. Includes Learning In Fellowship Together on Tuesday mornings from 9:00 to 11:00 AM and other activities organized four to six times per year.
Small Groups – Small groups are comprised of people who are committed to meeting together regularly for spiritual growth, fellowship, support, and discovery.
Men’s Groups – Small groups of men who meet for coffee and conversation around town every other week. New groups form when we have enough new men interested. This is also a great opportunity for leadership if you would like to be the main contact and organizer.
